Concerned

Hey, I am new to the app game and the mac game for that matter. I am not going to lose my data am I ? I am all set to push the button, just would like to know if i have to do a back up prior to running the cleaning process. ill change the rating if its good. I wasnt able to post my inquiry without rating.
