Memory Clean - Monitor and Free Up Memory App Reviews

This software may have once been useful but it has become nag-ware with recent updates. Each time it boots, it suggests you buy its add-on products. It’s basic functionality isn’t much better than what you get with Activity Monitor, built into the system.

This is the only free app that I have tried. And it seems to work, but after having it installed about a week, my computer was bombarded with adware. I tracked it down to this app. I’m going with a paid version to avoid the headaches.

I was hesitant to try this app. usually anything for free has been a disappointment but this app is great my computer is running much faster. TY Memory Clean

I am a full believer of "Continuous Improvement." So, with that said, I do think this app is "great;" because I find myself using it on an approximate average of once every 45 minutes or so - and it has yet to cause me any problems of which I am aware. And though I applaud the development team for what theyve done, I only give four(4) out of five(5) stars; because I want to push them to do even greater things with this app. Like, why is it that I have to run this every 45 minutes or so? -- put the answer into your next release... Is the only automatic configuration having to do with the "Threshold Level?" ...and why cant a trigger to autoclean on the closing of every application ( not crashing; but closing ); because depending on the level at which I have the "threshold Level" set, I might never meet that criteria, but open & close apps so frequently that a trigger for that would be very usefull. :-)

I’ve only had it a few days but it does what it says. Scans and cleans and, to me, there is a noticeable improvement in speed with each cleaning. I have not had any of those sign in demands everyone is talking about (yet) and hopefully I will not.

I have been using this for about two years now. I find it indispensible. The only reason I rate it four out of five are some minor quirks. I have seen reports from the app that seems to be wildly different then what some of the command-line tools would report such as top. That being said he really has prolonged the time I would have between app restarts or machine reboots.

I use this wonderful memory cleaner on my iMac, Macbook Pro, and Macbook Air. I can clean up the memory quickly and then speed my processing. I load it at start up so it is immediately available when my available memory starts dropping.

I alwaysworry about my battery life, and somehow, the default info for Macintosh osn’t enough for me. I don’t know how much time I would have if I were to watch youtube videos, etc, and this application is the best for this

Literally freed up one GB just by pressing one button… but the amazing part is that apps didn’t crash and everything stayed up and running. Great job developers!

My computer has ridiculously lagged the last six months. All I use it for is listening to music and doing homework, so I have been baffled at how sluggish it has been. I finally downloaded this app and it showed my RAM had only 150 ish megs available. It cleaned it up and now I average at least 2GB of available RAM out of 4GB. It runs efficiently and doesn’t take a decade to boot up anymore. I love it. Highly recommend, especially since the free version does the job for me.

So I’m running adobe Illustrator on a mid 2014 macbook pro. 2.5GHz i7. 16gb 1600 MHz ddr3. It’s a solid computer, but this program gets HEFTY once ive been going for awhile and vectors start piling up. The program stops displaying what I need to when i run out of ram and only shows me a preview. I “clean” my mac with this program and try to flip my actual display back on, and i get nothing. Super helpful.

This is a awesome tool to clean my Mac memory, it helps me well sweep away those unwanted trash and caches. Highly recommend

Look no more for a simple and stealthy app to do the job with one click. Fresh clear memory in no time. Highly recommend as a graphic designer, its all about white clear space. ^_~
