It works
Apple built memory management into OS X long ago, but it doesn’t always work like it’s supposed to. Computers with 4GB of RAM can often begin to hang, show the spinning candy, or generally slow down terribly when available memory gets too low. There are several memory cleaners out there, but this one is the best I’ve seen.
Being free is great. How well it works is even better. It effectively prunes memory of unnecessary set-asides and processes that should have closed earlier. It gives you the opportunity to do this when YOU think you need to, or automatically if you wish.
The more recent versions have been updated to work better with more recent OS versions, with computers with less memory (without the rare hang-up that MC itself can cause), and with older computers. It works, it works well, it works when you want it, and it works for free. What’s not to like?
