Memory Clean - Monitor and Free Up Memory App Reviews

Actual software works great. I have had it installed for the past year, and keep it running all the time. That is, in spite of the constant advertisting for their other products. OK, I get it, you need to make money to support your business. But why be such greasy salespeople about it? At least they are now promising to update less frequently, so I won’t have to click past ads for their other products every few days like I used to. "Now cleans 50% more than other apps! Buy the extreme version for up to 100% more clean!” Give me a break.

Hey, I am new to the app game and the mac game for that matter. I am not going to lose my data am I ? I am all set to push the button, just would like to know if i have to do a back up prior to running the cleaning process. ill change the rating if its good. I wasnt able to post my inquiry without rating. thank you apple community :)

After trying a few different apps, this is by far the easiest and most useful with the least amount of 3rd party advertising or popups!

Quick and easy to use. Enjoyable interface aswell.

After updating, it appears the app isn’t as efficient at cleaning memory… It barely frees up anything now! OR…. is this your way of making us purchase your “Extreme Clean”? I know you want to make a few bucks, but throttling the performance in an attempt to create incentive isn’t cool. Please make the app more efficient, like it was before.

I have an old iMac with 4 Gigs of ram and it was freezing a lot because of heavy graphic applications. I’ve tried Memory Booster and it’s so and so but does not compare to this one. The best I could get after cleaning with Memory booster is around 1.6 GB of available memory but with Memory Clean, it is giving me close to 3 GB free memory. I paid the 6 Cnd bucks to get Extreme Clean, but it’s well worth it.

I just started using Memory Clean and I love it! My Mac gets bogged down and I’ve never known who the memory hog was UNTIL now. Now I have the option to shut a “named" app or a program down if I need space. THANK YOU MC!!!

Hi, El Capitan (10.11.3) does not allow this app to run more than a minute. If you fix it, I will be happy to keep it. Thanks,

I have had Memory Clean on my macs at home for the past year and its an essential app. Awesome, trouble free, easy to use and effective at memory management. It does not try and install other memory hog items and isn’t daily trying to sell you another application or upgrade. Great app, essential, no problems

I have used various versions of the app over the past 2 years and have found it to be very efficient. I find that repeated cleaning actions can free up more memory, and I use it repeatedly if I deal with memory intensive tasks such a lot of pictures, Music downloads and playing. I have not tried the Extreme Clean, as I find the regular (and FREE) version very effective in freeing up memory. I only regret that this app does not work with my old MacBook running SnowLeopard.

Memory cleaner does what it is supposed to do. Simply and easily. What more can you ask for?

It gets the job done, and deals with “clingy” applications that just won’t release memory. Unless you want to re-start every day and your machine has loads of memory, you need this. And it’s free

Love this app. I went premium & still love it. Definitely does what it says it will do. It won’t solve all your problems but it will do what it says it does. Clean, Simple, Efficient, and Informative!

I really like the visual part , it lets you know its active When running something that needs more room it cleans up for you

Simple app that does what it says. Even with 16 GB of RAM it’s an asset when dealing with Logic and PhotoMechanic. Saves having to reboot in the middle of a project. Highly recommended.

Does what it is supposed to do with no problems. I like the minimalism, sleek and unbstrusive.
